Kankakee & Seneca
"Forgotten Railroad"
A long time ago, the City of Kankakee didn't just have New York Central, Illinois Central, and a streetcar company or two. There was the K&S! The Kankakee and Seneca Railroad once ran from the City of Kankakee, to Gardner, IL, and terminated at Seneca, IL. Sadly, in the 1930s, the railroad was torn down and abandoned. Very little remains of the railroad and what does is more or less farmer's land now. However, old maps show the route where is was. In fact, the maps line up with gaps and hidden bridge abutments making it traceable. That said, I'm going to gather all the information I need, purchase some books, and get this into the world of Trainz! This time, I'm not alone. Helping me along the way is LonghoodForwardProductions, lead by a friend. Together, the Kankakee & Seneca will never die.
